• There are not batteries in this thermostat- it gets power from the C wire. We converted from a battery operated to this model and there were instructions on how to get power to the thermostat. It involved a bit of wiring moves, but it wasn’t too difficult.

• Pull the thermostat from the bottom of the Wall plate replace with two AA BATTERIES .
