Very much so. It is basically a DIY dream. Concise and clear directions. Just make sure you turn off power before you start, no real danger of a shock, just if you cross wires by mistake, you could hurt your system. Even comes with wire labels to label the wires on your old unit to match up with the new unit. (Not all AC installations use the same wire colors, so use the wire tags). You will need to know your HVAC, is it AC only, AC & Elec Heat, Heat Pump, etc. That is covered in the setup directions supplied.
