“Where is the battery”

• Remove the faceplate by gripping at the top and bottoms and pulling firmly. The battery is under the faceplate. I hope this helps.

• There is no battery. The thermostat is powered from the C wire of your furnace/AC unit, typically a blue wire

• This model doesn't use a battery, it must be hard wired. I bought a low voltage adapter to install it.

• This thermostat does not have a battery port. You will need a C-wire from the house's electrical system to connect to the thermostat for it to power on.
