Yes, this thermostat works with SmartThings (Z-Wave).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.currently nest is not compatible with z wave, they communicate with 2 different frequencies, nest can communicate via wifi, and there is a nest app in your apple store/play store to download and control from there
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, this unit uses Wifi only and not z-wave to connect to the internet and Samsung's "SmartThings" hub, for example. If Staple's Home Connect only supports z-wave then it will not connect to this device. The Honeywell YTH8320ZW1007/U is a z-wave product and probably compatible with Home Connect.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was able to connect it using the apps from Apple Store and the Wink app that I use for my lights. It may be possible to make it work with the z wave. Worst case scenario, you can simply return it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. wifi access only via the web and iOS app.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This product is NOT compatible with Zwave. It is a wireless app only. Honeywell does make a Zwave thermostat, just not as good looking. Pretty plain Jane.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. You can only use wifi. There are other z-wave devices that are similar.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is not Z-Wave, it is WIFI only, but if you have a Z-WAVE hub you can make that talk to the thermostat via WI-FI. I have a Smartthings hub and it controls this thermostat with some work around because it is not officially supported yet, but just hit the forums or contact their support and you are good to go.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. So, by itself, not yet. However I found a thread that discusses a plugin. I would suggest you read through and decide for yourself if it is what your looking for. https://community.nest.com/ideas/2206
