“is this fan 25% more quiet than others? I like to hear the motor running while its on”

• Idk about percentage and all but in comparison to other fans I've come across fan is on the quieter side.

• The motor makes a low noise while running. It is not super quiet.

• This is a quiet fan. The sound of the air moving through the grill is very soothing. Good’white noise’ generator.
