• Yes, it will do indoor temperature alerts for a set low temp as well as a high temp. It also does geofencing so it will adjust the temp when you are within a certain range of your house using your phone's location.

• Yes it will alert you if the house temperature (not outside) moves outside of desired range. There is a settings screen in the Lyric app that allows you to set high and low temp alerts.
