• Hey Gadgetlady88! Yes, this thermostat can control AC only if you can get a common (C-wire) to the thermostat to power it. Thank you!

• Yes, as long as you have a "C" wire that is powered. If you don't, there is usually an unused wire that can be connected at the AC unit to supply the necessary voltage. The guy who inspected our furnace/AC hooked that wire up for free.
