If configured properly, I'm sure it will. We have installed 19 of these (Honeywell Wi-Fi 7-Day Programmable Thermostat (RTH6580WF), Requires C Wire, Works with Alexa) at our church and they work extremely well from the cell phone app. The RTH6580WF are now compatible with the Echo dot, but we have not yet learned that skill. With two of these T5's at home, they work amazing with the Echo dot and the phone app. They even have geo-fencing option to detect when you get to be within a certain radius or when you leave the building.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't see why they wouldn't. I think they would work just fine in your church. Do you have five different units? If so, you're on the right track, but if you just have one, you might be better off with an EcoBee 4 and four EcoBee sensors.

The HVAC tech did incorrectly wire it the first time so the AC and Heat came on at the same time when trying to cool but came back and switch one lead and it's been working great ever since.

The T5 is designed to be used in a residential application. It may be used in a business environment but experience may vary.
