I have 2 cats and one of my cats gets dandruff when the seasons change and he has had less dandruff since I've started using this. The other cat was curious and would swat the air where the vapor was, but I haven't had any problems with my cats and the product, so I would say it is pet friendly.

Yes as long as it's above ground and not where they can reach and knock it over.
