If you run this for a number of hours on the highest setting it will develop a "fan" of water along the ground that can be a significant amount of water. If it's on normal to low settings, no water really accumulates. We keep it on our granite counter or on the marble fireplace mantle so that if water accumulates you can just wipe it off (without it warping the hardwood or anything). Hope this helps

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It does leave a light mist around the spraying area when at full blast. Not dripping or anything. The knob surface does collect some moisture. If your humidity level is somewhat dry, the moisture doesn't retain.
