• Hi Anish! The humidifier should always be placed on a firm, flat, waterproof surface at least four feet (1.2 m) away from bedside, 12 inches (30 cm) from the wall and out of reach of patients, children and pets. Hope this helps!

• Wouldn’t recommend it since the fan is sucking from the bottom of the unit. It might choke the fan causing it to go out quicker.

• Even though it doesn’t leave any moisture on the carpet, it just isn’t as effective. Would recommend setting it on a hard flat surface.

• It drips a bit when you remove the water canister for filling. Not a lot, but enough to know it's happened.
