no, it's very quiet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It has different modes it can run on. Both High and Turbo could be considered fairly loud. However, when you run it on the lower settings, I found it is very easy to sleep with it. I am also an extremely light sleeper, and my immune system got so bad that I had to put it on High all of the time, and I did learn to sleep well through the noise eventually. It becomes more like white noise once you get used to it. But it does take some time if you are using it at High or especially Turbo.
