Mmm - sounds like your speed button is stuck. Might try some canned air…

To clarify, when this fan is first powered on, the unit will operate at the lowest speed setting until the speed is manually increased. If the unit is turned off while operating on the highest speed setting, it will return to the lowest speed setting when powered on again.
