• The wheels are rubber lined on a plastic wheel, much like a car tire... but soft rubber over a hard plastic wheel.

• They are hard plastic with a rubber coating on the outside. The green is hard plastic and the gray is rubber.

• The wheels are plastic with a soft feel rubber around them. (I like them)

• Hard plastic with a kind of rubberized coating. I don't think they would scratch a hard floor.

• Off the top of my head, they are a rubberized or soft plastic. Quite. I have wood/laminate floors, they are super quiet.
