Please try again later.No, the battery stays in the unit while charging, It comes with a mounting bracket that gets mounted to the wall for storage, simply make sure to mount it some place that is close enough to a plug, so that you can simply plug it in while it is being stored. There is no standalone charger for this unit, that would have been nice, but who really vacuums for more than 30 minutes at a time, to need additional batteries. You can buy additional batteries for it since the battery is not enclosed in the unit like some more expensive brands, but they can only be charged in the unit.
