• This is perfect for cement floors, Just test the soap first. This is not meant to sweep pet hair, dust, popcorn, food... but will gather missed items with the wash. For best results sweep first than use the Hoover for amazingly clean floors. I had to clean the missed dog hair out of the suction area when I was done. Hoover ® (800) 944-9200
