Can I use this to clean capets and rugs ? null

no, I wouldn't think you could use it on rugs or carpets, I don't think it has the same level of suction that a rug would require to extract all of the liquid out of it. It is awesome on hard floors though. It wet scrubs the floors and vacuums up the liquid in one pass! You will be amazed at how dirty the water is when you finish, I just thought my floors were clean before when I was using a regular mop
