It is an 18.0 volt 36Wh Lithium ion battery. Measures 5" x 3 1/8" About 1 1/4" thick and slides lengthwise into the vacuum cleaner.

The battery's charging cradle plugs into a standard NEMA 110 volt AC outlet.

It has the charger and built in battery. The charger supports 120V and once charged you can use it up to 30 mins ( i assume but haven;t tried it)
