• I don't know what type of battery it has- not suppose to have a memory from the reviews I read, but it seems to have a little. Does a good job in a small amount if time. We have a good sized home and I can get a lot picked up in the 15+ minutes I have on the battery. I do take the battery out of the small charger once it's full. I did purchase the extra warranty, just in case. Important for me to have a small vacuum to do quick jobs and not pay a small fortune.
