“After using my Smart Wash a couple of times all of a sudden the brushes quit working. They will spin until you release the Handel and start cleaning, will work for about 30 seconds and stop.”

The belt is getting ready to break and the belt can't be replaced you are going to have to contact hoover and have them replace it or take it back and get your money back. I went through 3 of them before I decided to buy the purple machine it works better and hasn't broken yet.
