“I have water that seeps in one corner of my basement every spring melt. I need this to withdraw the water from the carpet only to dump, at first. What’s tank size? does it allow me to just withdraw ? Then I shampoo after it’s done for the season.”

Yes, you can push the dry only button and will just suck up the water.

This carpet cleaner has the option to just dry! I love that about it because I am able to dry it as much as I can. It holds about 2 qt of water I would say if not more.
