“Is there a way to turn off the "Automatic Cleaning Technology"? I think that feature is cool but when I'm done cleaning I usually blow dry, if I'm cleaning upholstery but sometimes on the carpet, so instead the heat and vacuum only mode would be awesome.”

Yes, press the "dry only" button, and it will only be in dry mode moving forward and backward instead of just backward.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Have you read the manual, brochure or ad? All clearly state that you can turn off the auto feature and use just vaccuum and blow dry feature. The button to do so is prominently displayed to the left of the handle.
