We returned ours because the cord itself got extremely hot. I've never had that happen with any appliance before. Since we had purchased the GeekSquad warranty the store immediately replaced it with a different vacuum.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You may have to clean the washable filter.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Check the hepa filter,it clogs way too fast
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is very common with other Hoover vacuums .... read the HOOVER website: it is a tripped interrupter, they say it protects the motor, and can be caused by a dirty filter! I am returning mine today, I have had it two weeks. If the filter is that finicky I don't want it anyway!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't know the warranty period of the Hoover, but the condition should be reported to Hoover's customer service center for their opinion and solution ideas.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. It overheats & shuts down. Return is the solution.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You may want to check the vacuum's air filter. It may be filled with dirt and needs to be cleaned out periodically. Check this vacuum's manual on how to clean it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought the same vacuum last year and hate it. After using it 4 times it started to not function properly. Poor suction and weird noises. Bought a dyson on sale back in September to replace it. I absolutely love my dyson. I know they are expensive but they are worth it to me. I think hoover s quality has went downhill. I had one I bought in 96 that still runs. But the new one is too heavy and unreliable . I'm currently trying to sell it to get some of my money back.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Dirt Phob, sounds like there may be a minor clog or dirty filter you're not aware of. If there is a clog or dirty filter that will block the air path leaving no breathing room for the motor, which causes the motor to work twice as hard to do it's job. Here are a few steps that will help. First, remove both ends of the hoses off vacuum. Run a broom handle through hose to knock out any possible clog. Replace the hose on cleaner. Remove the dirt cup. Lift the gray latch on the dirt cup lid that has the hoover emblem on it. You will see a foam filter. Rinse the filter under warm running water until clean. Sit filter on it's side and let air dry for 24 hours. Test the cleaner after all the maintenance is done, it should work as new. -Giselle Hoover Customer Care
