This is a gas range which uses electricity only for igniting the burners; because its electricity demand is so low, it only needs a 15 amp or 20 amp circuit, with an outlet able to accept standard hot, neutral and ground prongs. The stoves you saw which require 40 or 50 amps are those which heat with electricity - a much higher demand - not with gas.
