This scooter like all the others I’ve owed all state that the speed and distance are “depending on the weight of the rider. They also state that the speed and distance are “up to x amour if distance and mph”. Maximum speed and distance would be accomplished at the very best scenario (ie. lowest weight rider and flattest smoothest surfaced roads). I hope that helps. I will state that I’m a pretty thick woman and mine goes the full 18 mph every time, but I make sure that I have full charge and unplug battery when I get that full charge.

Please try again later.I would recommend to return it back, and get your money back, this scooter has lots of different problems, it’s good looking scooter but it is very poor quality. I just returned it back to bestbuy and got my money back. I changed 5 times and got all different problems with this scooter, it’s very poor quality
