There is no way to know the expiration date. When you order online, or from Best Buy at one of their stores, you just have to take it for granted that the expiration date, (which should be printed on the box somewhere,) is reasonable. You must be very careful when purchasing printer ink online. After purchasing ink that had an expiration date only three weeks after arrival at my home, I no longer purchase from any source other than directly from HP or Best Buy. Usually, when purchased from Best Buy, the expiration date will be at least six months out. And if it's not, (as printed on the box, usually on the bottom of the cardboard portion,) you can complain and demand a replacement with a better expiration date. I think you will be okay to order the pink 02 ink from Best Buy. Just check the package upon arrival, and if you are not satisfied with the expiration date, demand an exchange from Best Buy. No, I will not purchase from oddball sellers online anymore. Another bad experience I had was that the ink, when it arrived, appeared to have been put into a different package . . . the package had no expiration date stamped upon it! When I confronted the seller, he denied that he had monkeyed with the packaging. Stick to reputable sellers like Best Buy or HP.
