What I would say is, software wise yes. Hardware is another story. There are times when I go to load something and it can take 15-20 seconds worse case for it to do so. Keep in mind, I wouldn't say that's the norm but it is worse case. Also if you need to be running more then 2 or 3 programs at once I'm not sure how it would keep up with the demand. If you will be multitasking and spending hours on it every day, I recommend a system with at least 8GB of RAM. I also recommend checking with your employer to see if they require special software to make sure you meet those system requirements.
