In order to use this Chromebook with an external monitor, you will need a USB C to whatever port is on the monitor. For example, USB C to HDMI. There are 2 USB ports on this Chromebook for a keyboard and mouse. I would suggest a wireless keyboard and mouse so that it only needs 1 USB port.
