• If all you plan on using it for is online work and you have no issue with using Google Documents for anything written, then yes. The computer is based completely online. If you want it for any other personal uses then I'd suggest looking for something else.

• This laptop is a work horse and can easily be used for taking online classes.

• This HP PC is made mainly for internet browsing and such, I believe a windows based PC would be better suited for online classes.
