• I am not with hp or best buy but do have 22yrs corporate IT and the specs say it has 2 slots that can handle 8G each for 16G.... that was a 14-dk1013dx right? If not please ignore this.

• Hi Theresa. Thank you for the question. HP Laptop 14-dk1013dx has only one memory slot and it can be upgraded using only one ram stick which would be 8GB.
