Hi Betty, apologies for what you're experiencing. Entry-level laptops may not always have top echelon audio support. But sound settings are adjustable, and it's possible to connect external speakers. You might have a better experience with laptops with Bang and Olufson audio, featured on Pavilion, Envy and Spectre laptops.
