“My sole purpose in buying this is to be on Zoom with about 30+ other people 2 times a week. It MUST have enough “whatever” it needs NOT to lag or freeze up when all 40 other Zoomers are in “gallery view”. Is this good for that??”

It would possibly be enough, but realistically you should probably be looking at a laptop with an i3 or i5 processor and 8 gigabytes of RAM. That would give you a little more "headroom"
