• A:Answer You would want to look at the developer's site for Origin and The Sims 2 and make sure that it meets the system requirements for both applications. When a unit starts off in S mode, you might not be able to download the apps and that would require that you turn off S Mode first.

• A:Answer The CPU in this model is not on the recommend specs list for that software. You will want a model that has at least an Intel Core i3 or AMD Ryzen 3 CPU and a SSD hard drive.
