Windows 11 Home in "S" mode, which limits the user to software in the Microsoft Store. It can be switched out of "S" mode, but that can not be reversed and defeats some of the settings that are used to protect the OS without adding third-party AV software. Users have mentioned using alternate OSes successfully that were more efficient using memory than Windows 11. With the limited memory this system offers, that may become a consideration for many users.
