“I’ve been seeing mixed answers on if you can upgrade the RAM on this laptop. I am just trying to use HP Tuners and make sure there is enough space to not lag or freeze while tuning vehicles. Would love to upgrade to atleast 16gb. Thank you.”

Thank you for the question. The 14-dq0052dx has one RAM slot and can support 8GB maximum. The slot is not user-accessible. We recommend that a professional technician do upgrades.
