“We have a seasonal home. When an inkjet printer sit unused for so long, the cartridges need to be replaced, and the inkjets cleaned. We’ve never had a lasrjet printer… will it have issues if it sits unused for months, such as needing to replace toner…etc”

I had the same problems with inkjet printers and that’s why I purchased this laser jet printer. I had good experience with laser printers because the toner cartridge doesn’t dry out even if it’s unused. This printer has the same benefits but it’s not as bulky as other laser printers. I’ve been using it occasionally and my home office is sunny and dry. It works well and I am certain it will print a few thousand pages regardless of the time frame.

You can leave a laser printer sitting for even a couple of years, turn it back on, and it will still print. Laser printers are ideal for intermittent printing environments, like a seasonal home, as well as when color is not needed.
