“Hi! I’m very much old skool and not familiar at all with lap tops. Is Chromebook the same as a regular laptop? My son if leaving for college soon and i wanted to get him another laptop that’s inexpensive. Would this be a good one?”

Hello and thank you for choosing HP! This laptop could be used for very simple tasks such as browsing the internet and managing some documents at the same time. It is considered the least expensive lineup of laptops due to their capacity and performance. For a little bit more money, I would recommend an Envy model with an Intel I5, and 16 Gb of RAM.
