For 3D apps like that the video card, CPU and RAM are all important. This has a decent video card and the CPU and RAM are ok (not as nice as a I7 and 16GB+). The more RAM the better for 3D apps, so yes I would upgrade to 16GB ram if possible. This is much better than an average laptop with only built-in video.
