• Great question! This laptop does not come with a DVD player. Most laptops will not have optical drives, which allows laptops to be thinner and lighter with longer battery life. However, you will still be able to connect an external DVD drive via USB!

• Hi im very pleased for answer your questin here , in my opinion cd or dvd are not used anymore so if u have a special need for that device you still can get a external dvd reader writer it doesnt matter about the brand and maker cause they are univesal compatible...
