These units are considered non-upgradeable. You can ask HP Support or Geek Squad about possible upgrade options for the unit, but it is highly recommended that you get a certified technician to do any upgrades to this machine. It does use a lithium-ion battery and that can make upgrades a risk. If Geek Squad does the upgrade, it will not void the HP Warranty, but HP will not cover the new parts.
