“Can I hook up to an external Monitor and can I run in the closed position?”

• It has HDMI so if your monitor accepts that which most all do then yes. Also it can run with lid closed you just have to adjust the setting in windows to do nothing when you close lid. Easy to do.

• You may need to go into the power options and set the computer not to go into sleep mode if the lid is closed, but if you do that, you should have no problem driving the monitor with the laptop closed.
