According to HP's Maintenance and Service Guide for this laptop series, it has two memory slots, considered not user-accessible due to their location (authorized repair professional recommended), which can support a total of up to 16GB maximum system memory. This is the maximum amount of RAM tested by HP for this laptop series. Some Intel laptops can support up to 32GB, but this was either not tested by HP or not successfully tested, and is therefore not listed in their official guide. The storage is also not considered user-accessible and was not designed to be upgraded. I would speak to an authorized repair professional, such as your local Geek Squad, about your storage options.
