Hello. Thanks for your question. There is a 30 day trial of Microsoft Office on this HP laptop, which includes Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. We recommend purchasing Microsoft Office with this laptop.

Adding more information: Microsoft now provides free, limited use of the Office Suite (one program at a time, not all features enabled, must be through a browser). If that is not sufficient, you can buy or subscribe to a version, or use one of the free (compatible) Office Suites, like Kingsoft.
