• Yes. Has 2 RAM slots, one already populated with 8 gigs of RAM. Add another 8 gig RAM stick and you would have 16 gigs RAM. Or remove the 8 gig stick and put in even larger RAM sticks.

• The max memory for this laptop is 64 gb. So, yes the 8 gb can be removed and replaced with 2 x 8s or 2 x 16s etc. It has 2 memory slots.

• I also tried to swap out the 8 GB for a 16 GB. But no display. Not sure what to do now as the Best Buy is a 40 minute drive. Anyone have any idea?

• I tried putting in 2 16GB totaling 32GB and it went to a black screen. I ended up only being able to install 2 - 8GB instead. Not sure what the issue was since the 2 - 16GB went into laptops the 2 - 8GB came from with no issue.
