• Hello, the processor in this device is the beginning of the Intel Core series. It is meant for basic multitasking computing, such as office suite work. If the student is in engineering, graphics design arts, or other high performing degree programs you would need to increase your processing power. Check with the university to see what they recommend the student purchase for their coursework. Thank you for being an HP customer!
