“I’m a college student in need of a new laptop asap but I need to download Respondus Lockdown Browser & Proctorio. Will I be able to download those even though reviews say this laptop has “s mode”?!”

You'll need to take it out of "S Mode" first. You can find the directions to do that at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/switching-out-of-s-mode-in-windows-4f56d9be-99ec-6983-119f-031bfb28a307#WindowsVersion=Windows_11
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The "S" mode is easy to remove. Instructions come with the laptop but I had a techie do it as I was on the phone when setting mine up and asked... took about 5 seconds.
