Thank you for the question. The HP 15-dy2702dx is not from the Pavilion sub-brand. The battery life is up to 8 hours and 30 minutes for mixed use, and up to 11 hours for video playback. Note that battery life is affected by screen brightness, use of WiFi, and number of open apps. We recommend using power saving settings when operating on battery power. This model supports fast charge: approximately 50% in 45 minutes.

Don’t leave it plugged in when it’s fully charged and use it until the unit hits about 30%. Then plug it in to fully charge it. Leaving it plugged in all the time will wear out the battery. Once it hits 100% your good to go.
