All Microsoft Office products are by subscription. As for Word, it does have "Wordpad" that works as a document generator

Thank you for the question. The 15-dy2703dx laptop is presented with Windows 11 Home in S Mode. In S mode, apps can only be downloaded from the Microsoft Store and only the Edge Browser can be used. To acquire apps from other origins or use browsers other than Edge, you can convert the system out of S Mode. This is a free and simple change, but it is not reversible. You can use Zoom from the Edge Browser (and not the app) if you decided to keep the laptop in S Mode. This model comes with a 30-day free trial of Microsoft 365. You can open the app on the laptop to redeem the offer. You can also use the Microsoft 365 online version to open and work on documents.
