Yes it can. But it is not reversible once you do. I took mine out of S mode.

The hardware of this laptop will easily support Windows 11 Home when you switch out of S mode. I have an HP laptop that I bought at Best Buy with the same specifications as this laptop, and it runs Windows 11 Home very fast and efficiently.
