You are able to upgrade memory and SSD. However, I don't see any reason too as its pretty maxed. Yes you can get more space and memory but the chipset is not for intense or draining use. Depending on what you plan on using this device for you shouldn't need to. The value for upgrading is just not there. I would apply that towards a better unit.
